A Man without hair looks like a diamond with no shine. Hair loss is the most common problem that most men face. As Mae West said, ‘A man can be short and dumpy and getting bald but if he has fire, women will like him’, but I am sure that he must have not seen a single man both bald and weak! Sometimes, weight loss and hair loss becomes synonymous as one leads to the other and vice a versa. The following are some of the common causes that may lead to the loss of both hair as well as weight:


(1.) Cancer: There are some diseases like cancer which are accompanied by both weight loss as well as hair falling.


(2.) Its all in the genes: Hereditary factor is the most common reason behind rapid hair loss and gradual weight shedding.


(3.) Emotional imbalance: If a man is under any sort of stress or tension, then it is bound to affect his health. Depression also leads to weight loss and hair loss


(4.) Thyroid abnormalities like hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism also cause hair falling and weight shedding.


(5.) Diabetes: It has been observed that a diabetic person hair loss is a quite common but at the same time rapid weight change is also observed.


(6.) Improper diet: Malnutrition or Poor nutrition is another factor that leads to both of these losses. It is quite obvious that the health would suffer if the body is not getting essential nutrients.


(7.) Allergy or abnormal reactions from some medications: It has also be seen that some people are hypersensitive to drugs and get exaggerated overreactions from some medicines which results is weight loss as well as hair loss.
