To figure out the symptoms of infertility is not a very tough job. The term infertility simply means unable to conceive after a year of unprotected intercourse. This, itself, is the first symptom that you will likely notice as the first sign of infertility. People who have a healthy lifestyle and are not associated with any problems sometimes do face problems of infertility. Yet there are some couples, who have been experiencing signs that hints the possibility of infertility. The signs that women experience may differ from individual to individual. Some of them may experience physical signs and some may not.


Some very common signs are the irregularity in the menstrual cycle, pelvic pain; chronic acne and weight gain are some of the physical changes that are the possible clues of infertility. Here follows some of the most common symptoms experienced by women when trying to conceive. The physical changes that are responsible for infertility are almost related to ovulation and menstruation problems. Ovulatory complications and disruption of menstruation are major causes of female infertility. These complications include excessive bleeding, absence of menstruation and release of immature eggs.


Hormonal imbalance is another major cause of infertility in female. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a cause of infertility which occurs when there are excess of male hormones in women. The signs and symptoms that you will notice are oily skin, excessive hair growth, chronic acne etc. These symptoms are usually associated with hormonal imbalances. The fluctuation in the body temperature in accordance to the menstrual cycle can also be a sign of infertility conditions.


Pain in the reproductive organ is another sign of infertility complications. Some very common signs of infertility problems are menstrual cramps, pain when having sexual intercourse, bulging in the lower abdomen may indicate fibroid tumor. Pelvic pain may also indicate the possibility of other complications such as uterine defects, vaginal birth defects, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease etc. Apart from these, there are certain infections which may most likely effect fertility. These infections which may be recurring are either the cause or symptom of infertility.


Those infections which are left untreated may risk a great deal of the chances of conceiving. Recurrent yeast infections, sexually transmitted disease such as Chlamydia can cause pelvic inflammation and also recurring urinary tract infections may also be a factor that contributes to the cause of infertility in women. There are also other physical symptoms such as weight loss or weight gain due to obesity, high fever can be a sign of pelvic inflammation, etc. Those suffering from hernia also have problem while trying to conceive as it pushes the abdomen though the abdominal wall. A woman knows best about her body and it is very important to carefully inspect one’s body to stay away from problems.
