Vaginal Bleeding

There is no reason to worry about what you can do at home if you notice your vagina bleeding lightly or profusely.

1. firstly, what you need is to confirm if the blood is coming out from your vagina and not from the rectum or in your urine.

2. but how? to find this out, insert a tampon inside your vagina to confirm that the blood is coming out from the area of your vagina, cervix and uterus.

3. if you feel that you are bleeding profusely then it would be better to rest for a while.

4. just keep a record of the tampons or pads you use per day, as this will help your doctor to find out the amount of flow of blood from your body

5. do not commit the mistake of taking an aspirin as this will prolong your bleeding thereby making it unbearable for you

If you keep these things in your mind before your visit to your doctor, then it will give a lot of ease at home. You won't have to rush to your doctor at once. And please, do not hesitate to describe the whole situation to your doctor even if you have controlled the situation at once. Tell him/her all that you did to ease yourself, so that it becomes easier for him to give you the right treatment.
