It is well said, "Prevention is better than cure". But you normally ignore the importance of these precious words. Its not a good thing, something or the other is lacking in the spreading of the modern knowledge among the common people. Our modern conditions are severely in conflict with the ideal of healthy living. If a layman is given proper awareness about how to protect or prevent himself from various diseases, then the health of our community could be improved. Unfortunately, when are we given such an awareness about a particular disease, by that time we have already become a victim of it. What is the use of all this, then? We can only go for the treatment to get free from that disease. And if we were given awareness about its effects earlier, then maybe we would never have confronted it!
