Hypnosis as treatment for anxiety disorders

Life is becoming complex day by day and very often we see people getting anxious to reach their goal. A little bit of nervousness is understandable but when someone develops an Anxiety disorder then it is definitely a serious concern. Many a times, we see many such people suffering from anxiety disorders getting extremely anxious at the thought of exams, before any performance, public speaking, or at many other occasions that cause anxiety. When this anxiety disorder begins, the person either wants to run away or fight it, the heart beat increases and the following symptoms can be observed:

1) Trouble in breathing

2) Difficulty in sleeping

3) Excessive sweating or the body getting ice cold

4) Vomiting or nausea

5) Digestive problems like frequent need of urinating or constipation

6) Choking sensation due to anxiety

7) Chest pain

8) Illogical fear of having a heart attack

9) Fear of embarrassment

10) Pains in the body like headache, back pain, neck pain, jaw pain and so on

The most prominent symptom of the anxiety disorder is that person fears from making a fool of him/herself.

Now, the next question that comes in mind is ‘what exactly to do in order to get rid of this anxiety disorder?"

Well! A recent research has highlighted the effectiveness of hypnosis as treatment for anxiety, as about 80% of the people who opted for hypnosis as the treatment, showed positive results. Yes! Hypnosis or hypnotherapy is significantly beneficial as well as the safest technique of self improvement and self help. It is a concentrated relaxation that relaxes the body as well as the conscious mind but at the same time this healing method empowers the subconscious mind and improves the life.

A well trained health official uses the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy commonly known as C.B.T. and cures the person from panic attacks and phobias. The hypnotic sleep induces relaxation and reduces anxiety, stress, depression and panic attacks.

Besides relaxation, it helps the patients to focus their attention and respond to helpful suggestions.

However, there are some people who feel that hypnosis has many disadvantages. For those people I would like to say ‘Even if your hypnotherapist died while you were in a deep level, you would probably just fall asleep and wake up later.’ So if you or someone you know is suffering from anxiety disorders, then don’t be shy in consulting a licensed hypnotherapist and say goodbye to your phobias and anxieties.
