1. establish a routine
A proper established routine makes it easier for you to manage all your daily activities in time. Like choose a set time to do household chores: clean the bathroom and kitchen on saturday and sunday, respectively. Water the plants on sunday morning and bathe your pet after watering the plants every sunday.
2. go for brain exercises
Playing mind games like word games, crossword puzzles, chess or any other activity that challenges your mental abilities.
3. practice
As soon as you enter into a room, try to keep a track of people you recognize. Whenever you meet someone, repeat his/her name in conversation so that you never forget that name.
4. Nudge the numbers
Take for example, if your friend's birthday is on 1st of january, then do something to remind you, such as start calling her/him as "a new year gift".
5. Do not worry
Fretting about your loss of memory will only make your condition worse.
6. Make associations or correlate things
When driving, look for landmarks to associate with your route and name them out loud to save them in your memory ("turn at the clock tower to get to office").
7. Make lists
Keep a good track of all the important tasks and events like appointments, venues for parties and time, birthdays and anniversaries of your near and dear ones and most importantly, all the dates for the payments of the monthly bills.
