Gone are the days when kids used to rely on preserved food or junk food like burgers, pizzas, pastries, french fries and the list never ends! Now, smart mothers have discovered the secret of fulfilling their kids' desires keeping their health in good spirits. So, here are the healthy recipes your kids will simply love:-
1. High Nutritional-Value
Take cornflakes, sprouted beans, boiled potatoes, boiled chick peas and finely chopped tomatoes, onions, cucumber, and green chilies. Mix all the ingredients. Now, add a bit of lemon juice, black pepper, red chili powder, and powdered cumin seeds. A delicious and so-nutritious recipe is ready for your sweet little kid.
2. Potato delight
Boil potatoes and add them to onions, garlic, ginger and coriander and do not forget to add a bit salt to it. Also add red chili powder, garam masala, green chilies and a few drops of lemon juice. Now, knead a dough with plain flour and make small balls out of it. Fill these balls with the mixture and flatten a bit. Then, bake them at 200 deg c for 15-20 minutes. And its ready to eat.
3. Fruit's delight!!!
Take a ripe watermelon and a few bananas. Now, slice them. With a toothpick, insert the watermelon and banana slices one by one, to the length your kid can hold easily, like insert 3 slices on each toothpick. Now, to add more beauty and taste to it, top it with cherry as per your choice.
4. Bread rolls recipe
Take slices of brown bread, cut their edges. Now, take a slice and dip it in shallow water just for a second and then immediately press it very gently between both of your palms. Be careful otherwise the slice will break into two.
Filling: Take boiled potatoes, boiled green peas, chopped onion and green chillies, carrot and cabbage. Mash all the ingredients well.
Now, take a bit of mixture into your hands and place it on the wet slice of bread. Close the bread like a ball and flatten it a bit and shallow fry.
5. Fruit smoothies!!!
You can make these smoothies with banana, orange, strawberries or blueberries. But how? Its very simple. Just put the fruit in blender and add lots of ice into it. Now, blend it and serve immediately. Thats it!
