Causes Of Memory Loss


Memory loss is also known as dementia and can be caused by a number of factors. And the causes of memory loss cannot be ignored in any case as this loss can prove really harmful for your self-confidence. So, let us go through these causes:


1. side effect of some medication- there are a lot of medications causing certain harmful long-term effects like memory loss.


2. head injury- due to some serious injury on your head or near your brain, your memory power could suffer heavy losses.


3. alcoholism- a severe addiction of alcohol or any other addiction may prove very harmful to your brain and memory. Your ability to memorize things of the past or recent past may diminish with time at a rapid pace.


4. stroke


5. pregnancy- some pregnant women may experience short-term memory loss


These are the main factors that are responsible for memory loss. So, its better for you to stay away from all these as much as possible. Though pregnancy, the last factor cannot be avoided and also the effect it causes is very short-lived and goes away after the birth of baby. So, there is nothing to worry about.
